Roadside gastro pub in pleasant rural surroundings. Reopened in April 2019 after a major refurbishment, with a very smart interior and a good outside seating area for drinkers. Decent selection of cask ale but restricted internal space for drinkers, as table space is often dominated by diners. The guest ale may be sometimes replaced by cider in summer.
