Country pub close to Wigtown and opposite Bladnoch Distillery - the most southerly distillery in Scotland. Supports local residents and fishermen, walkers and shooters. A classic interior and fine bar area. Serves pub food, including vegetarian. Regular Sunday carvery from 12.30, and a popular Fish Friday menu. Real ale is only available at weekends and occasionally is from the local Wigtown brewery but if making a special trip check before going.
