This distinctive Edwardian building from 1904 dominates the High Street. The constantly changing beer range of up to five ales (but usually only three on), and quality food, are served from an open-plan kitchen to a separate dining area. There is a secluded beer garden at the rear. Quiz nights are every Monday.

The pub's original tiles can be viewed in the corridor leading to the toilets.
