Two-storey Wetherspoon pub in an historic former hotel building close to Central Station. The unusual external stonework consists of rocks used to ballast colliers (ships) returning empty to Cardiff having delivered coal overseas. CAMRA vouchers are not always accepted.

Both the main entrances have steps to enter. However there is another entrance between them which is step free but is closed and there is a signed bell to press to get assistance for entry. Once in an accessible WC and baby change is available on ground floor. Main toilets are down flights of stairs.
