A split-level, family-friendly hostelry that has defined drinking and dining spaces as well as a function room. There are covered and open drinking areas outside. Although there is no car park, there is usually ample room on the road. National cycle and walking paths to the Swiss Valley and beyond are nearby.

A good value carvery is offered on Wednesday and Sunday.
