There is always a warm welcome at this mock-Tudor fronted free house, with three cosy rooms all with open fires and comfortable furniture. The impressive wood panelled bar is adorned by an excellent range of guest ales, many from local breweries. Regular Beer festivals are held at Easter and bank holidays. Good food is served 12-7pm except Monday and Tuesday. Chesterfield District Pub of the Year 2022, summer Pub of the Season 2023 and Finalist of the Chesterfield and District Pub of the Year 2023.
