The Raven, formerly known as Bar 236 is located at the top of the High Street. Originally opened in 2010, new owners took over in 2025 when it was renamed and refurbished providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The L-shaped space has an area with comfortable Chesterfield seating with the main glass fronted area having traditional tables and chairs, providing ample room for a range of regular events such as quiz, crafting workshops, film nights, DJ sets and live music.

Light bites, barista coffee and a range of exotic cocktails are available in addition to lagers and ciders. Timothy Taylor's Landlord is a permanent cask line alongside two guest cask and two craft key, both sourced from UK microbreweries.
