An estate pub now transformed by Stonegate into an attractive sports bar under the Craft Union banner, reopened on 11 December 2024 after more than a year's closure. A single room now sweeps round to take in the area that had been the public bar on the western side, with small rooms off to the left for darts and pool. A Friday disco karaoke promises to be the main attraction, plus live music on Saturdays and some other evenings.

Two cask beers were competitively priced; the publican was keen to look after them, but there were too few customers for them to make it worth his while. Sadly, the handpumps were out of use as at 15 July 2025.
