Busy open-plan town centre pub, serving up to six real ales. The name was changed from Hog's Head to Flute & Flagon in spring 2015 after a light refurbishment. Breakfast is available from 9 am every day. Live sports shown on multiple large-screen TVs. There are tables and chairs on the pavement in front of the pub, making it a very pleasant spot in summer. There is live music on occasion, which can make conversation difficult.
