Really a cocktail bar.

Licensed since 1764, owned by Flowers & Son 1920s (taken over by Whitbread 1960s) then Morrells and now Greene King. Re-launched regularly, recently as a sports bar and grill and in 2025 back to a pub. Function room at the back called the Barn available for hire and music events with its own cocktail bar. Has some beer on tap and in bottles.

Listed as Red Lion Hotel. House late C17 licensed 1764, refronted 1840.
