This stone-built thatched traditional pub is open plan, with a main bar, three areas for diners, a glass-roofed function room and an enclosed garden, providing a children's play area. Interesting photos reflecting the history of the wartime RAF base. Three beers are dispensed via hand-pumps, including a changing range from the nearby Digfield brewery. An extensive menu and specials board. Third-pint glasses are available, giving the opportunity to taste a wider variety of beer.
Active Campaign
The Kings Arms was registered as an Asset of Community Value on the 27th February 2026 by the Parish Council and North Northamptonshire Council. On the 3rd March 2026 the current owners submitted notice of an intention to undertake a ‘relevant disposal’ of the King’s Arms to North Northamptonshire Council, triggering the commencement of the moratorium period. In July 2026 Polebrook Community Hub Ltd was registered as a Community Benefit Society, and they have agreed a price with the owner to purchase the pub.
