A 17th century classic Northants ironstone pub, The Royal Oak consists of 3 dining rooms, a snug, and a long stone flagged floored bar at a lower level to the corridor, unusual in this part of the country and found mainly in some Yorkshire pubs.
The Royal Oak at Eydon was refurbished and reopened by established restaurateurs, David and Sarah Webster in Summer 2026. This is the third pub in the West Northants area they have resurrected in the past 10 years. Their sister pub is the multi AA Rosette winning Plough at Everdon.
They offer seasonal menus using locally sourced produce, Sunday Roasts, and daily specials. There is a special children's menu. They have an extensive wine list. Two changing cask ales are offered, one from a national brewery and the other from a local brewery.
