This welcoming pub with a beamed ceiling and slate floor has two distinct areas. There is a comfortable lounge area with a stone feature fireplace with a woodburner at one end and a dining area at the other. Adding to the character is a centrally positioned bar made from old church pews. The sunny beer garden with comfortable seating is an ideal place to enjoy warm summer evenings.

As well as at least one cask ale, there are craft beers (also from Fell) on tap and in cans from the fridge.

Currently (November 2026) only interesting bar snacks are available but meals are planned. Their ethos is to use local suppliers and support the local community.
