Originally built in 1846 by Henry Le Strange who wanted to capitalise on the growing popularity of sea bathing. In a prominent position overlooking the Green and seafront. Re-opened in March 2024 after extensive refurbishment and the addition of a conservatory lounge with a glass lantern-style roof.
