The Bridge Tavern is situated between the stanchions of the North East's most iconic landmark – The Tyne Bridge. This modern open plan bar is also home to a two hectolitre micro brewery on the ground floor of the pub in full view of the customers (not brewing at the moment(2025)). There is an extensive real ale offering, with a house beer by Wylam, alongside a quality food menu. There is a ground floor beer garden, and upstairs a second bar and roof terrace.
