Bar converted from a hairdressers that was also called "Funky Monkey", in 2023. The bar area is situated on the entrance level with more tables and chairs towards the rear. Downstairs, there is a very comfortable lounge with a stove, together with an area for meetings which is off to one side. The pub is operated as part of the Inglenook Inns group, who get a lot of their real ale from 52 Degrees Brewing in the West Midlands; as at September 2026 regular real ales were Lady Godiva and Blonde Bombshell. Parking is available a short walk away, adjacent to the Co-op store.
