A former coaching inn, now bypassed by A12, which is very popular for food and is mainly laid out as a restaurant but has bar stools and a table for drinkers in the bar area. There is a garden at the rear accessed via the car park and also a couple of tables to the side of the pub.

Historic Interest

Historically listed as a commercial hotel (with every accommodation for cyclists & staying parties in 1912). The facade is 19th Century, but apparently built in 16th Century. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolk.camra.org.uk/pub/988
