Under new ownership from September 2022. Previously a florist shop, this micropub (it has capacity for approximately 15 people!) changed ownership in September 2022 but has maintained the standards for which it was known. A friendly welcome is assured and there is a cosy atmosphere. As there is no music, TV or games machines, conversation and banter are key. The pub offers a varying selection of up to four cask ales, primarily from Yorkshire breweries and with one line dedicated to dark beers. Also offered a craft keg cider and a keg lager along with a range of artisanal gins. It is intended that at least one real cider from a local producer will be available. It can be very busy first thing after a working day. Outdoor seating is provided to the front, by a busy road, in times of good weather.
