Pleasant old pub with low-beamed bar, a larger room to the rear with a conservatory and a courtyard garden. Earliest date recorded is 1809 but building much older than that. Reopened at the end of 2025 under new management, closed for a short while October 2026 and reopened under different new management. Has drink deals and live racing, football, etc. and the usual keg beers on.
