A hidden gem of a micro pub on the main road from Blackburn to Darwen, just up from the Esso Garage towards the town centre.

One room with no TV just good conversation and background music with occasional live acts.

Currently 1 cask available, keg lager, cider, wine and spirits.

Dogs very welcome both inside and on the outside seating area which is perfect on sunny days. Children welcome before 7pm and last orders is at 10pm.

In the Summer of 2026 after almost 10 years after opening Darwen's first micropub, the time came for John and Julie to retire, a new era started with Lisa (and Sean) at the helm who had been regulars since the pub first opened.
