In its previous incarnation as the Albert, this prominent street corner pub was renowned as a live jazz venue. Now the Departure Lounge, opened in March 2026, it's good to see the focus on live music remains, featuring regular live bands, DJ sets and jam sessions covering many musical bases from blue and jazz to soul and Motown.
