A popular pub about one mile from the town centre. Owned by St Austell until late 2023 when it was sold to another pub company. The pub is still run by Nigel and the family who have been there for 5 years. Ales are now predominately from Otter and Dartmoor, though guest beers may be from further afield. One real cider Sandford Orchards Devon Red (Keg). There are several rooms off the large open bar, one housing the pool table and darts boards. This vibrant pub supports four darts teams (men, ladies, mixed) and two pool teams. Locals can often be found playing the card game euchre on a Sunday afternoon, only stopping for the meat draw. Families welcome until 7pm.
