The building dates back to the 18th century and was originally three cottages with a lean to barn on the end. New owners in 2023 were locals who bought the pub when the previous owner retired. Three local cask ales are available, including a dark beer. A large outside seating area is available. There is no regular food but there are occasional special food nights. The first Wednesday of the month is Jazz night with a regular band. The nearest regular bus stops are in Kibworth Square; an on-demand bus service may be available.
