This is a club, which means that the bar may only be open to club members.

Six cask ales are offered at this Grade II-listed club and community hub; four of them change regularly and are generally from local microbreweries. One dark beer is always available. The club has a light, airy and friendly atmosphere. It may be divided into two to accommodate different requirements. Many members are involved in the club's snooker teams; others enjoy the friendly ambiance and watch live football and rugby on the sports TV. Card-carrying CAMRA members are welcome but regular visitors will be required to join. Bingo evenings are held regularly. The club was voted as the CAMRA National Club of the Year in 2022 and again in 2023.
