An 1849-built listed building, this smart hotel has its own fitness suite, including among others a squash court and sauna open to residents. the interior is of a contemporary style with a good selection of ales. Food menu includes prime steaks, fresh fish and a "Dish of the Day". Well served by public transport, the rail station a ten minute walk away.

Please note bookings are appreciated but the outside tables seem to be for walk ins.
