Just off the main high street Nailsea’s first micropub opened in 2019 in a former opticians. The focus is on keg beer, both regional and national, as well as cider and lager, but between one and four bright beers in bag-in-box from Cheddar Ales are served, one through a tap dispense alongside the craft keg lines and the others kept in the fridge and served from the box. Bottle and can-conditioned live beers are available as are real ciders, various spirits, wines, alcohol-free and soft drinks, as well as reasonably priced bar snacks. Although there is no dedicated parking, there are ample car parks nearby as well as the A2, X9, X11 bus stops. The pub opens at 10am on Market Days which occur on the third Saturday of the month, and has a quiz night the second Wed of the month. The TV is used for major sports events on terrestrial TV only. From June 2026 the pub opens alternate Sundays 12 noon until 5pm - check their Facebook to confirm. Well behaved dogs welcome, and children until 6pm.
