Traditional pub dating back to the 16th century that was originally two woodman's cottages, hence the name. Since then many of the original features have been retained, including flagstone floors and open fires. Two regular beers are served on handpumps in the bar, both from the Fullers. Food is served lunchtime and evenings, Monday to Friday and all day at weekends. The pub is dog friendly.
