Old free-house situated on the A167 crossroads, with a comfortable interior opened out into a carpeted lounge bar; an eating area is in a separate room off the bar. Guest ales are usually sourced from small Yorkshire breweries and often include a dark beer. No accommodation, but the pub has its own holiday-let to the rear. Offers takeaway meals.
