Café Bar opened in a former shop on historic High Street. The property was renovated by Chris Mamby and was destined to become a Viking themed bar. This fell through and the property was then leased by the couple who operate the Yella Brick Road fashion shop next door. Though it opened in May 2022, it did not obtain an alcohol licence until late June. It doesn't sell real ale but does sell bottled and canned craft beer from the likes of Flying Cauldron, Tiny Rebel and Beavertown. Also sells teas, coffees, wine and cakes. The garden is at the rear of the property. An upstairs room was opened in September 2022.
