Formerly the George Hotel, it was renamed, refurbished and reopened as the Marches, it closed as a pub and reopened as a pizza restaurant in 2015, then following a long period of closure, it re-opened as the George in 2023. Renamed following a takeover in March 2026 as Pieto Lounge.

Historic Interest

There has been a pub on the site since 1790 and was formerly a meeting place for farmers on auction days at the old market.
