Formerly a sub-post office, The Pig and Pickle is an independent family-run free house and micropub with three handpumps, one of which serves traditional cider, two serve cask ales, often from breweries not generally seen in Heavitree. All three are constantly changing. They do not serve food but customers may bring their own in with them. There is a very small outside drinking area at the front with room for three or four bar stools only.
