Village pub Grade II listed some three miles North West of Stockton, in a pleasant village.

The pub is approximately 260 years old and so named as it was originally built from recycled ships' timbers.

Completely refurbished into a nautically themed pub in April 2014 and offering a contemporary, pleasant welcoming atmosphere.

Fast becoming the number one choice for both visiting drinkers and eaters from the local area, quenching the thirst of eager parmo eaters from the surrounding areas.

Up to 35 different variety of Teesside's favourite dih are made available each day.

Expect to pay city centre prices for drinks. Besides the Landlord, the house beer is likely to be an offering from Greene King, and is not too dissimilar to what was Hardy & Hanson's 3.9% Bitter.

Buses from Stockton (No. X86) and Darlington (No. 10) til 5.30 pm.
