Historic Interest

A census record from 1901 shows Arthur Dowson was the Beer House keeper but the pub is probably older. Known as the Little Welly. A Peter Walker pub described in 1980 as a single U shape bar selling Tetley Bitter and Mild and Walkers Warrington Ale.
