This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
A friendly, community run club, which is open to non-members. It is set high up on an embankment alongside the main road through the village. The clubhouse layout consists of an L-shaped Main Bar downstairs on the left and a smaller Lounge alongside. There is a function room upstairs which is available for hire.
The building is well known for a large mural wall depicting the famous Hollywood actor Richard Burton (Richard Jenkins), who was born in the village near to the pub (which was then the Miners Arms Public House) and was known to drink in there with his father. More pictures of Burton are shown in the rear of the Main Bar, and the club will open outside of normal opening hours by prior arrangement to allow history groups and those interested to see them.
